I feel what makes you an expert is not necessarily about how much you know but more about if you have mastered your own style of something. Since most fields are extensive with information it may be impossible to learn everything in that particular area but you can build no the skills you have already acquired. I feel you are a novice in something any time you are presented with something new. You can be between because there is always room to grow and become better. I don’t feel I have developed into an expert yet so I can’t describe the process. I feel I am in between with most things because I am young and we never really stop learning and there isn’t a limit on how much we can learn so technically I don’t think anyone is an expert, totally and completely.
